Don't be fooled by the ambiguous name that the projects your imagination in a northern European restaurant, the black sheep is a pure Italian restaurant with a special concept to discover. It opens early in the morning, we on the oven first to bake our bread. Our coffee is a personally selected blend of the best coffee qualities of Indonesia and roasted according to Italian tradition. Ingredients like fish, meat, vegetables and flavour are checked and selected every day to give freshness and quality. I do not prepare a fine dining cuisine and absolutely no fusion because I want to respect the origins of my land, and the land where I live now. Sometimes I mage a small turnaround to give my best but always respecting the work done by Mother Nature, without changing too much the original flavours. In our menu we have Italian and regional national dishes. I come from southern Italy where I grew up in a valley in the mountains near the sea in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, I repsect the recipes that have been created for years, from grandmothers and mothers who lived in symbiosis with the environment. I am the sheep that wants to stand out from the flock! Resect of the recipes without too much manipulation of the ingredients. Close your eyes, feel the atmosphere, feel the flavours.....
