MICHELE CUOZZO

Coming from the South of Italy, Salerno, in a city named Sala Consilina, Chef Michele learned the art of cooking since he was very young, helped with the region's rich farmland and access to abundant fresh seafood and ingredients. Pizza and pasta, cooked from the local wheat, make the region’s recipes famous throughout the world. 

In 1994 he landed for the first time in Jakarta to work as pizza chef. After so many years traveling in and out Asia, in 2016 he decided to put down his anchor where it all started, Jakarta, with Black Sheep. 

Chef Michele will be in his restaurant around the clock, 24 hours, 7 days a week,  serving his specialties, or anything you have in mind, anytime you step in to Black Sheep. (If  you ask nicely, he will even help you build your own brick oven pizza).
